About Us

Children’s Dream Foundation Uganda

Is a nonprofit organization based in Kyabakambi zone, Ndaiga parish, Kabende subcounty, Kabarole district, Western Uganda, Africa.

The foundation was founded in 2024 by a visionary leader, Abel Turinawe (aka Abel Rayana), who himself is an orphan. Having grown up without both parents, Abel understood the deep troubles faced by children in similar situations. He witnessed how many children are shunned because of how they dress, feed, or live; neglected by parents; or left disabled without support. This compelled him to act, leading to the birth of Children’s Dream Foundation.

We envision a future where every orphaned and vulnerable child has access to quality education and the support they need to thrive, regardless of their social or economic background.

Our Mission

To provide comprehensive support and resources to orphaned and vulnerable children, empowering them through education to break the cycle of illiteracy and poverty and achieve their full potential..

Meet the Children

She is 5 years, just started baby class, her father died and she is with her mother who is not able to provide her with most basic needs like education, clothes and medical care, it cost 100 dollars every term and that equals to 300 dollars a full year, kindly reach out for her.

6 years old, in middle class, He also lives with his mother who is not able to provide him with needs like education and proper medical care, his dream is to be a doctor, it costs 120 dollars per term which will total to 360 dollars a full year, he really needs a helping hand .reach out for him kindly.

7 years old girl, she is in primary one, her dream is to become a nurse in future, she is a double orphan who stays with her grandparents, her parents died in an accident heading to kampala, 124 dollars is needed every term,it will make a total of 372 dollars a full year, your response will mean alot to him and us the community in general .God bless you.

He is 8 years old, studies in p1 class,He was abandoned by her parents because they couldn’t afford the responsibilities, he stays with his grandparents who are also not able to provide him with education ,clothes and medical care. Are there opportunities to volunteer with your organization??

Who are the children you support?

We support orphaned children, vulnerable children from low‑income families, children with disabilities, and those who have been neglected or abandoned. Many are from single‑mother households or are double orphans.

What impact has the foundation made so far?

Since 2024, we have provided school fees, uniforms, and scholastic materials (books, pens, mathematical sets) to over 20 children. Our efforts have helped reduce school dropouts and improved access to education in Kabende and surrounding areas.

We maintain the highest standards of transparency and accountability. Every donation is directly applied to our programs—whether providing school fees, medical care, or essential supplies—and we are happy to share updates on how your contribution is used.
